How long do the games last?
Usually 2–3 hours depending on your group size.
Can I play online and in-person?
Yes! Every game includes:
In-person hosting instructions
Online guides for Zoom, Discord, and Gather
Digital + printable character sheets
Can the host play?
Definitely. Hosts can join the fun without knowing the solution ahead of time (unless they want to). Every game includes a Host Guide covering:
Assigning characters
Preparing materials
Run-of-show
Optional props, music, and extras
What are your games like?
Players receive a character with a backstory, personality, secrets, and goals. They choose how to reveal information, who to trust, and how dramatic to be. Halfway through, someone is murdered. The killer knows. Everyone else investigates. Bribery, alliances, betrayals, lying and scheming are all encouraged.
Great for extroverts and wallflowers. Everyone has a role.
How many players do I need?
Games range from 6–24 character slots depending on the title. We recommend choosing one you can fill close to the maximum for the best experience.
And yes, count the host!
Are the games beginner-friendly?
Absolutely. No acting skills required. Players get enough structure to feel confident, with plenty of freedom to play their character their own way.
What age group are your games for?
Most games are for older teens and adults (13+).
We also offer one mystery for ages 9–13.
